Book review on the secret history by Donna Tart

The Secret History by Donna Tart is a book you should read, when the weather is gloomy and you yourself have a feeling of gloom too.

The characters are eccentric, they all have very strange and quirky customs that seem foreign; in today's worlds of standards.

Due to the abnormality of their quirks, they are all Un conventual which is what makes you root for them even though what they have done in the book is morally wrong and seemingly villainy.

The book has a pronounced style to it, this is what makes it so good. If you are in need of an autumnal book to read by the fire this is the book for you.

The book has a dark and mysterious plot that is filled with the unexpected. The plot will stretch your mind as it can be a complex book to read as it is based on classic novella.

Donna Tart is a quintessential example of an all-around good writer; she rounds the book in an articulate way that gives you a plot with everything you could desire. She gives you intrigue to read on, a dash of romance and deep complex characters that have not just got surface personalities but ones that pop off the page.

To conclude, I would strongly recommend this book, it is a staple for this gloomy time of year. Also is a fiercely good page turner.
