CHESHIRE Home volunteer Chris Craggs is to re-run a successful art exhibition to raise funds for Banbury's new Leonard Cheshire building.
Mr Craggs' exhibition - prints of black and white drawings done on holidays over the last ten years - has been at Brackley Library, but will re-open at the National Herb Centre, Warmington, for two days, November 25 and 26.
Mr Craggs, who edits the Cheshire Home newsletter and is a member of the fundraising committee, said he wanted to support the capital fund for the new Cheshire Home being built in Warwick Road, Banbury.
The existing centre at Adderbury no longer meets government standards for care homes, and an appeal for £750,000 was launched in April this year.
The fund is more than halfway to its target, and Mr Craggs is looking to boost the total by donating 25 per cent of his picture sales to the cause.
He said: "Also on display at the herb centre will be the plans of the new home and details of how it will help the disabled residents.
"Visitors will be able to view the pictures and the collection of plants. They will also be able to walk the nature trail and have coffee, lunch, or afternoon tea in the centre's bistro."
