BUILDING worker Steve Morcombe hopes to raise money for a cancer charity by wearing shorts through the winter.
He is urging others to do the same in a bid to boost the funds of the Orchid Cancer Appeal - a charity dedicated to funding research into diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of prostate and testicular cancer.
Mr Morcombe, a fork-lift truck driver at Barratt's Axis site on Banbury's former cattle market, said: "I'm calling the appeal 'Legs out for the Lads' because Orchid deals specifically with cancers that affect men.
"I'm being sponsored to show my legs all through the winter and I'm asking other people to do the same."
