RESIDENTS in Brackley are to get tips on recycling as part of a "go greener" campaign by Northamptonshire County Council.
Householders are being encouraged use their kerbside collections to recycle more of their household waste.
Leaflets, being distributed to houses, contain information about how to recycle plastic in kerbside containers.
Council recycling officers will be out and about on Wednesday, October 11, inspecting the streets, and one resident will be randomly picked to win £50 if they have put out their kerbside recycling container on the correct collection day.
Ben Smith, the council's executive member for environment, said: "We want to make this county cleaner and greener. This means that more Northamptonshire residents have to recycle their waste. Kerbside collections are an important part of this"
