CHILDREN at Christopher Rawlins Primary School, Adderbury, have had an exclusive preview of their new village website. Organisers of www.adderbury.org visited the school to thank the pupils for contributing to the launch of the website - which goes live at the end of the month.
Malcolm Bromhall, one of the committee members responsible for the site, told the school: "When we were looking for ideas we asked all the groups and societies in the village, and had some suggestions - but not many. When we asked this school we had hundreds of ideas and that's why you are the first people to see the finished website."
The chairman of the organising committee, Nick Fennell, said: "The children here have shown, in their use of the internet and their enthusiasm, that it will be a popular facility. I hope it will be a success in and out of the village."
He said www.adderbury.org would be a "living" website - constantly being changed and updated.
The official launch will be at Adderbury library at 2pm on Saturday, when two children from the school will press the button to make the site live.
