BANBURY Town Council is giving away free flowers.
Geraniums and dahlias from this year's town centre display beds will be available on Saturday, September 30, from the council's nursery in People's Park.
Ann Sewell, the council's events and projects officer, said: "This is a great way of recycling bedding plants and with some tender care they can be re-planted next year by budding gardeners.
"Over 10,000 geraniums and dahlias decorated the town and these will now be removed ready for the spring bedding."
Plants can be snapped up free of charge from the People's Park Community Nursery on Saturday, September 30, between 10am and 3pm.
