A bridal show will help a fundraising to drive to support a a four-year-old boy with cerebral palsy.
A percentage of the ticket price of the Fantasy Fairytale Bridal Event, at Ryehill Golf Club, Milcombe, which is being staged tonight from 7.30pm, will be donated to the Tiago and Ali’s Fund.
Tiago, who lives with his mother Ali dos Santos, in Cope Road, Banbury, has cerebral palsy and needs extra equipment and specialist therapy to help him lead as normal a life as possible.
His 39-year-old father, Paulo, died in a road crash on the A415, near Ducklington, in 2006. Afterwards friends of the couple set up Tiago And Ali’s Fund to help support Tiago.
The wedding fair has been organised by Cutting Edge Hair and Beauty Salon, Banbury.
A host of stalls will be set up for brides-to-be to find out about dresses, photography, cakes and flowers for their big day. There will also be a bridal wear fashion show.
Director Kirsty Pearce said: “We wanted to support a local charity at this event and when we heard about Tiago and Ali, they were the obvious choice.
“Our event sponsors are generously donating raffle prizes so we’re looking forward to helping swell their fund.”
