A BANBURY nightclub is planning to bring in DJs from Ibiza to help raise cash for a cancer charity.
The Chapel, in North Bar Street, has recently celebrated its first anniversary and decided to kick off the second year in business helping others.
Owner Ryan Mold reopened the club last October after it had been closed for more than six months.
He said: “It has had about five owners in as many years. We took it over last October and turned it around and have well and truly beaten the horrible reputation that it once had.
“Now a year later it seems to be an established venue in the town and we have really put it back on the map.”
The club has teamed up with Ibiza-based charity La Vita, which has a string of celebrities and DJs who play free at venues to help raise cash for charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
On Friday, December 18, from 10pm to 4am, one of its guest DJs will perform at the club and all takings from the door will be donated to the charity.
