Duncan Bannatyne, chairman of the Bannatyne Group and star of TV’s Dragons’ Den, has unveiled his latest investment – a £350,000 wellbeing spa in Banbury.
The Banbury spa is the 30th in the Bannatyne Spa chain and has created eight new jobs in the town.
The spa is an extension to the existing Bannatyne’s Health Club in Bodicote Park.
Open to members and non-members of the health club, the single-storey spa boasts four therapy rooms and a dual treatment room specially-designed for couples and friends to share.
Duncan Bannatyne said: “I am very pleased to add Banbury to my UK group of spas and offer local people a more complete experience of exercise, wellbeing, personal beauty and relaxation.
“In line with all my existing health clubs and spas, the Banbury spa will provide a high quality service and experience for every visitor, offering the latest treatments and using leading luxury product ranges.”
He added: “We are operating in a competitive market place, but health and wellbeing remain top of the agenda for many people.”
