DEDDINGTON farmers’ market said it with flowers when it donated flower baskets to the town hall and library buildings in Deddington, as a thank you for the village’s support over the years.
The baskets were made up by Jean and Patrick Gardner, of Upper Grove Mill Nursery, Bloxham, who trade at the monthly market.
Geoff Todd, chairman of Deddington Market Management Group, said: “The market management committee felt it would like to sponsor the hanging baskets in the village this year.
“It is not the first time we have provided them as it is a practical way of saying thank you to the village for its support over the years.”
