TWO more acts have been added to the line up for this summer’s Fairport Convention in Cropredy.
Eighties favourite Nik Kershaw and singer songwriter Scott Matthews will also be playing at the festival in August.
Kershaw, who had a string of top ten hits including I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Wouldn't It Be Good and The Riddle will take to the stage on Saturday, August 15.
Meanwhile, Midlands-born Matthews, who has been getting plenty of rave reviews, will play the festival on Friday, August 14.
His debut album, Passing Stranger, was released in 2005 and the track Elusive, which was later released as a single, won an Ivor Novello Award in 2007.
And Matthews’ new album is due for release next month.
The pair will join Ken Nicol & Phil Cool, Buzzcocks, Steve Winwood, Ade Edmondson and The Bad Shepherds, Seth Lakeman and many more over the three day festival.
