A schoolboy who died after collapsing at school is believed to have suffered a blood clot near his heart.
Ashley Piper, aged 16, was rushed to hospital last week after collapsing at Banbury's North Oxfordshire Academy, where he was a pupil.
He was first taken to the Horton Hospital in Banbury, and then to the John Radcliffe in Oxford.
Despite being resusitated in the ambulance and at hospital, Ashley did not fully regain consciousness.
NOA principal Ruth Robinson said Ashley was a hard working boy whose ambition was to join the army.
