BANBURY Business Park is set for expansion.
Property developer Stockdale Land says it will meet the demand for high-quality commercial locations along the M40 corridor by developing the site, situated between junctions 11 and 12 of the motorway - between Adderbury and Aynho.
Stockdale's spokesman John Liggins said: "Good sites along the M40 corridor are less plentiful than on the M42/M6.
"At Banbury Business Park we will be developing a further eight acres enabling occupiers to take full advantage of this attractive location.
"We have obtained planning consent for eight small B1/B2 units totalling approximately 25.000sq ft which we intend to commence shortly, and 25% of these are already under offer."
Charter Community Housing Association has recently moved into a 14,500 sq ft building on a plot adjacent to the County Ambulance Trust which relocated its central control and services centre to the business park where Vodaphone already occupies two large office buildings.
Elseware in Banbury, Stockdale are working with Assura Property to provide a new 50,000sq ft medical centre at South Bar House.
Stockdale is also working in partnership with Sainsbury's to develop a major shopping centre in Bicester town centre, including a six-screen multiplex cinema, leisure units, and 100,000 sq ft of retail including a Sainsbury's supermarket.
