WATCH the goals as Oxford United overcame a tough build-up to win 2-1 at Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League One.
The U's were without nine players due to injury and illness but took the lead through Matty Taylor's 11th-minute strike.
Ryan Bowman equalised for Shrewsbury on the hour mark, before missing a golden chance to score again when he blazed over from six yards.
The hosts were made to pay when Ryan Williams was fouled in the penalty area, with Cameron Brannagan to dispatching the spot-kick seven minutes from time.
