OXFORD City Stars postponed their final game of 2021 following a Covid outbreak in their ranks.
The club called off Saturday’s visit of Invicta Dynamos on the afternoon of the match because of a ‘developing’ situation.
“The health and wellbeing of everyone connected to the club and our guests are of the utmost importance to us,” a Stars statement said.
“We appreciate this is short notice for everyone, but it is a
fast-moving situation, and we were left with no choice but to postpone.
“We let Invicta Dynamos and the league know at the earliest opportunity and we are committed to rescheduling the fixture later.”
Stars are scheduled to host Dynamos in NIHL Division 1 South on Saturday, January 2.
Fans can claim a refund or having their ticket transferred to the new date, with more details to be confirmed.
