ELLIOTT Moore has become Oxford United's third signing in as many days.
The 6ft 5in centre back, 22, has signed a three-year contract after the U's agreed an undisclosed fee with Leicester City.
The deal follows swiftly on the back of Ben Woodburn and Anthony Forde's arrivals earlier this week.
It fills a key piece of the puzzle for the side, following Curtis Nelson's departure in June.
Moore had been with Leicester since he was a schoolboy, but his senior experience has come through playing on loan in Belgium with OH Leuven.
He said: "After two years away in Belgium I wanted to go back to Leicester and my priority was to try to get into the team there.
"I want to play first-team football and that wasn’t going to happen there.
"I heard Oxford were very interested and it was my priority to get out and play, so somewhere like this is hopefully going to be a great challenge and experience for me.
"I’m dead excited and can’t wait to get started."
Of particular value is despite being right footed, he has spent the last four years playing on the left side of central defence.
