GAVIN Whyte played his first 90 minutes for Northern Ireland's senior side as Michael O'Neill's side came from behind to win against Estonia.
The Oxford United winger had not started a competitive international fixture before, but helped them win the Euro 2020 qualifier 2-1 in Tallinn.
He now has five caps, having made his debut last September.
Clubmate Mark Sykes, who is in the senior squad for the first time, was not been included on the bench.
Their campaign continues away to Belarus on Tuesday.
