JORDAN Graham's much-anticipated loan return to Oxford United has been confirmed.
The winger has been training with the squad since last month and a deal from January 2 until the end of the season has been agreed with parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It marks a second spell at United for the 23-year-old, who made six appearances during a brief - but impressive - loan in 2015.
Graham announced the move on Oxford United's Twitter feed, giving supporters an extra Christmas present.
He said:"As I'm sure you're all aware I've been training at Oxford for the last six weeks.
"(I'm) absolutely loving it and I'm pleased to announce I will be signing on January 2 for the rest of the season on loan.
"I'm over the moon and I feel so happy to be back."
Graham, who thanked U's owner Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth and boss Karl Robinson for their roles in the move, is due to be unveiled to the crowd at tomorrow's Boxing Day clash at home to Southend United.
It completes the goal Robinson set last month when he revealed the winger - a target for the U's during summer - was training with the squad.
The unusual move happened after Graham's loan to Ipswich Town fizzled out having made just four appearances.
Robinson was keen to get an agreement finalised as quickly as possible and this means the winger can be involved in the Emirates FA Cup third round trip to Brentford on January 5.
Speaking on Saturday, the U's boss said: "It’s never done (until the deal is signed), but the player wants to play for Oxford United.
"He put the shirt on the other day and his words were ‘wow, yellow again’.
"That was nice to see the desire that he has shown to want to play for the club.
"He’s taking care of his accommodation himself.
"He’s just got a place in Bicester - there’s not too many clubs you can commute to from there."
