Andrew Pepperell-Gray grabbed a brace as Barton United were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Premier Division rivals Kings Arms Wheatley in Group A of the Critchleys UTV League's Alan Alder Trophy, writes Tim Siret.

Paul Hedger also netted, while Kings Arms hit back through Luke Cuff, Olly Zaja and Matty Jacob.

Brightwell FC posted a 3-0 win at Sutton Revolution in the all-Division 1 tie.

Dave Morris, Andy Gibbons and Ben Cordery netted.

In Group B, Premier Division basement boys Dorchester United dispatched Division 1 outfit OUP Wanderers 5-2 at home.

Brian Rawlings, Colin Royall, Michael Hinkin, Luke Saunders and substitute Ian Marshall netted for Dorchester, with Alex Garth and new signing Max Martini replying.

AFC Jericho scored in the first and last minutes for a 2-0 home win over Mansfield Road.

Jamie Woodward set Jericho on the way, and Sharman Davis sealed victory.

Cholsey United took over at the top of Division 2 with a 5-0 home win over lowly Sutton Wanderers.

Andy Allum hit a double, with Paolo Di Pasquale, Phil Hedges and James Purdue completing Cholsey’s tally.

Previous leaders Yellow Eagles could only draw 2-2 at King & Queen, Wheatley.

Elliot O’Brien netted twice for King & Queen, with Lee Rendell and Ben Crawford replying.

John Hawkins and John Watts found the net in a rare away success for Rutherford Lab – a 2-1 win at Saxton Pirates, for whom Joff Cummings scored.

Research Machines hammered relegation-haunted Checkendon Exiles 10-1.
