Holders Oxford Yellows eased into their fifth successive quarter-final as they dumped out Chinnor Sports 6-2, writes TIM SIRET.

Their victory sets up a mouthwatering tie against UTV League champions Dorchester United.

Rocky Whiting and Mark Scanes hit doubles for Yellows, with Tom Gaughan and Sean Flaherty completing a comfortable passage into the last eight.

Dorchester United set up that tie the hard way as they beat Chinnor Athletic in a penalty shoot out.

Their end-to-end encounter finished all square at 4-4 after 120 minutes.

Ian Marshall smashed a treble to help Dorchester into the shoot out, John Boal grabbing the other.

Marshall, Boal, Mark Ingram and Chris Murphy were all successful from the penalty spot as Dorchester went through 4-3 after the shoot-out.

Rover Cowley found an understaffed Donnington no issue as they beat their UTV rivals 5-1.

Donnington could muster just nine players at the start and that only improved by one more for the rest of the match, so the scoreline could have been much worse.

Tommy Hayday struck twice, with Stevie Andrews, Luke Bremner and Ryan Macer also on target to ensure Rover Cowley a quarter-final at home to last year’s beaten semi-finalists Kings Arms Wheatley.

Hot-shot Lee Spencer hit the Donnington consolation.

Kidlington Royals have managed only one league win this season, but look a different proposition in the cups after winning 4-1 at The Bell, Grimsbury.

Ben Willoughby twice netted for Royals, with Dan Sherbourne and Tim Wyatt’s strikes ensuring a quarter-final tie at home to Highfield Social Club.

  • LIAM Woods’s double proved in vain as Wallingford Keys lost 4-2 at Charville Rangers, (Reading) in round three of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup.
  • BRIGHTWELL were pipped 5-4 at Pinkneys Green , near Maidenhead, in the third round of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Trophy.

Andy Gibbons (2) and Ben Cordery scored in regulation time, but Neil Carrington’s strike was not enough to seal the tie.
