Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Trophy
Cholsey United continued their excellent form by handing out a 5-0 hammering to hosts Curzon (Reading) in round three.
Their unbeaten run continued thanks to another brace from the Andy Allum, with his brother Chris, Jamie Martin and Paul Hessey also netting.
Allum’s double took his tally to 24 for the season, while the tight Cholsey defence has conceded just three goals this season.
Abingdon Exiles won 5-2 at North Star Wanderers in Woodley, Reading.
Leigh McKiernan smashed a hat-trick, with Andy Aldington also on target and Ali Wolfe completing a fine win with a 25-yard free-kick.
Saxton Pirates and Brightwell FC were both denied by the cold weather, but will try again this Sunday away to Parklife Rangers and Pinkneys Green respectively.
