Standlake Garage recorded their first Autotype UTV League win of the season in Division 1 – and how!
After six straight defeats, they hammered OUP Wanderers 10-1, with Mike Duerden hitting four goals and Tim Senior two. Other goals came from Mark Saxel’s header, Tom Gerken, Darren Light and Mark Limmer.
AFC Hinksey took over at the top by beating title rivals Kings Arms Wheatley 5-2.
Julian McCalmon’s double helped Barton Utd win their rematch with Dorchester 5-0. Aaron Armstrong, Mark Flanagan and Andrew Mazey also scored.
Division 2 leaders Wood Farm struggled to overcome Wallingford Exiles 4-3.
Wallingford led through David Cheeseman’s header only for Wood Farm to reply with three quick goals from Jake Howard, Drew Fowler and Ajay Lloyd.
Wood Farm extended their lead with a fine strike from Joe Green, and Wallingford pulled back goals from Mark Littleford and Gary Miller. A last-minute winner from Tom Srawley sealed a 6-5 victory for Wootton & Dry Sandford over Abba Athletic.
Josh Nicholls hit a first-half hat-trick, and there were two goals from Nick Wilson.
Abba fought back to 5-5 with Lee Clack (3), Jake Freeman and Tony Iverson on target, only to lose it at the death.
Research Machines swap-ped places with Woodstock Wanderers with a 4-2 win.
In Division 3A, Donnington stay unbeaten with a 6-1 win over Yellow Eagles. Ryan Coles and Nick Andrews hit doubles, with Josh Green and Lewis Colwell completing the scoring for Donnington. Duncan Howell replied for Eagles.
Railway Wheatley went fourth with a 10-1 win over Leys Wanderers.
Jason Conder (4), Jordan Reid (2), Tom Williams, Phil Lowe, Shaun Liptrot and veteran David Nelms scored for Railway, Leys replying through Anthony Simpson.
Chalgrove maintained top spot in Division 3B with a 4-0 win over JET.
Ricky Armstrong, Peter Clarke, Danny Smith and Sam Eeles got the goals for Chalgrove.
