King’s Arms Wheatley won the key game in Autotype UTV League Division 1, dealing OUP Wanderers’ hopes a severe blow in a 2-1 victory.

The game burst into life just after the break when Alex Garth and Richard Wells set up Andy Potter, who smashed OUP into the lead.

That lead only lasted five minutes as Wheatley’s Phil Patrick equalised.

With just eight minutes remaining, Dave Oliver pinched the points for Wheatley, whose keeper Steve Skyrme enjoyed an excellent game.

Dorchester United whacked nine-man Standlake Garage 7-0. It would have been more but for some super goalkeeping from Chris Bennell.

Colin Royall, Dave Smythe, Barry Hayden & Mark Denslow gave their side a four-goal advantage at the break.

Another strike from Denslow in the second half and strikes from Luke Saunders and Lee Allmond completed the scoring.

A Johnny Eudell hat-trick helped Didcot Casuals defeat Division 2 leaders Bell Grove 4-1 and blow open the title race.

The other Casuals scorer was Lewis Monaghan.

They raced into a three-goal interval lead, thanks to a treble from Lee Nicholls.

Chris Coppock pulled a goal back from the penalty spot and Neil Hillier also netted.

Long Wittenham won for the first time this season, taking the relegation battle 4-2 at Abingdon Exiles.

Chris Freeman, Ollie Saunders, Ryan Cox and Andy Burton all scored for the visitors, with Robbie Lucibello and Steve Cox replying.

Division 3A leaders AFC Woodfarm remain four points clear following a 6-2 home win against Abingdon Knights.

Leys Wanderers held Clanfield 85 to a 1-1 draw, Chris Peck notching the Leys goal with Clanfield's new signing Craig Mays replying.

A hat-trick from Hampstead Norreys top-scorer Lee Bartholomew helped his side to a 5-1 win at Punchbowl Pirates in Division 3B.

Bernard Gerrard and Nathan Winstanley also scored for Norreys, Shaun Gilsenan hitting Pirates’ consolation.

Bowyers Arms overcame White Horse Abingdon 8-4.

Kearan Russell grabbed a hat-trick for the home side, Craig Davis and man-of-the-match Anthony Munt both struck twice and Joe Fairhurst got the other.
