Autotype UTV League side Didcot Casuals won a cracking Devenney Cup quarter-final 3-1 at home to The Bell Grove.
Grove fell behind to a Johnny Udell strike, but Johnny James equalised.
Casuals again took the initiative as Jim Clark raced in to score and it was not until late that Ashley Wilcox sealed Casuals’ place in the semis, where they face Wallingford Exiles or AFC Woodfarm.
Third division pacesetters Kennington United were pipped 1-0 by one of the Division 1 title favourites, King’s Arms Wheatley.
Sam Day was on target after a Dave Oliver shot was saved by keeper Matty Hutton.
Luke Holden whacked a four-timer in Kidlington Royals’ 5-1 win at Division 2 side JP's, for whom Gareth Fenton netted a consolation.
In Division 1, Dorchester United inflicted a second consecutive defeat on AFC Cowley, Mark Denslow hitting a double in a 4-0 home win. Colin Royall and Gary Smythe also scored for Dorchester.
Abba Athletic took over at the top of Division 2 following a 7-1 demolition at ten-man Long Wittenham.
Wesley Bone hit a treble for Abba, Murray Nicholls struck twice, with Jake Freeman and sub Wayne Robinson completing the scoring. Danny Cox-Rogers hit Wittenham’s consolation from the spot.
The home side’s veteran back four, with an average age of 46, probably suffered from tired legs.
Oxford FC had a comfortable 3-0 success at nine-man Rutherford Lab, with Timothy Mungar, Boubacar Drame and Andrew Pantry doing the damage.
Research Machines gro-und out a 5-2 home win over Sandman despite having Andy Warmington dismissed.
Chris Coppock (2), brother Stuart, Nick Wehmeier and Lee Wyatt netted for the winners, with Chris Rowells and Adam Reynolds replying.
