The OFA Sam Waters Cup final will be an all Marston’s League affair with both remaining sides winning their respective semi-finals, writes GEOFF BOWER.
Oxford Yellows came from behind at home to OUP Wanderers to win 3-1 with a fine second-half performance.
OUP took the lead after 20 minutes when a long ball split the defence and Ellis Bicknell netted.
However captain Rocky Whiting inspired Yellows to victory with a close-range effort to draw them level and then a 12-yard blast to the top corner.
Damien Perks secured victory with a late third that takes Yellows into their second successive final. after losing on penalties last year.
Riverside secured a fine 3-0 victory in a very competitive game at Henley Town.
Henley relied heavily on the long ball, but found the Riverside defence in fine form with man-of-the-match James Smith outstanding.
Riverside took the lead mid-way through the first period when Mark Janes converted a penalty.
Further pressure from the visitors led to Ben Moses scoring before the break.
Henley’s cause was not helped when they were reduced to ten, while a Denel Thomas strike from 25 yards confirmed Riverside’s impressive victory.
