Danny Bedding, Craig Rob-inson, Danny Carter and Joel Hart were also on target for Hardwick, with Dave Herbert replying.
Oxford FC secured a dramatic 6-5 victory at Goring United.
Andy Malonga and Quincy Malagia both hit doubles with Ibrahim Mara and Andrew Pantry completing the win.
Goring replied with a Toby Nowell hat-trick, plus strikes from Sam Green and Graham Browne.
Oxford FC will face either UTV side Woodstock Wand-erers or Wroxton whose tie was lost to the weather, in round three.
A David Nanton brace helped AFC Cowley beat UTV rivals Kidlington Royals 4-1.
Aaron Barrett and Joe Cooke also scored for Cowley, with Jimmy Deabill hitting the consolation.
Cowley have a severe test in the third round, as they take on Marstons league side Cold Arbour.
Paul Faulkner set up a clash with Barton United, as his double helped OUP Wanderers edge past the Swan Banbury in a hard-fought 4-2 win.
Ellis Bicknell had fired Wanderers in front, while sub Mark Nicholls beat three defenders to score No 4.
Ronnie Kabwebwe and Thomas Gaughan gave Oxford Yellows an early 2-0 lead at home to FC Bicesterlona.
But the visitors struck back through Nick Lacey from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit by the break.
Yellows moved up a gear, with a Craig Hanlon hat trick, including a 30-yard curler, and Johnny McMahon’s superb solo effort securing the 6-1 victory.
Barton United secured a comfortable 7-3 victory at Banbury Cross, Colin Ryan leading the way with a hat-trick for the visitors.
Aaron Armstrong grabbed a brace, with Ryan Curtin and Ben Armstrong adding one each.
Riverside thrashed Rose & Crown 14-1 with Ben Moses smashing a five-timer.
Lance Williams and Mark Janes both netted hat-tricks, while Mark Johnson, Michael Sackey and Michah Rochford managed one each.
AFC Hinksey gained a walkover against Standlake Garage, who claimed their pitch was unplayable then couldn’t raise a side when Hinksey offered their ground.
