WOOTTON & Dry Sandford caused a big Ridgeway Cup shock – beating Division 2 outfit Sandman 2-1 in the first round.

The Division 3A side, who lie mid-table, went through thanks to goals from Tom Srawley and Jon Weir.

Adam Reynolds scored for Sandman, who also had a goal controversially disallowed.

Shelley Arms caused another upset, as they dumped Long Wittenham out in a rousing 4-0 victory.

Didcot Casuals Res won the penalty shoot-out 3-2 after a marathon 6-6 draw after extra-time, in their tie at Bicesterlona.

Max Hinchcliffe (2), Ben Chaffey, Jamie Newport, Callum Chaffey and John Pearce scored for Didcot, with Callum Wynne (2), Matty Gardner, Nick Lacey, Stephen O'Neil and Chris Philpott replying.

Successful spot-kicks from Pearce, Newport and Jake Chaffey sent Didcot through.
