Matty Pedder and Paul Jezzard put Grove 2-0 up with just 15 minutes to go, but a resolute Hood grabbed a point with late strikes from Sam Bowers and Craig Mays.

Abba Athletic made hard work of beating Research Machines 6-3, substitute Scott Blackwell hitting a double to ensure the win.

Abba had cruised into a four-goal lead at the break thanks to Andy Sams (2), Murray Nicholls and Gary Dyer.
