Billy Beechers hit a four-timer on his debut to help Barton United thrash nearest rivals Cold Arbour 6-0 and secure the Marston's Oxfrord Sunday League Premier Division title with two games to play.
The Abingdon United striker opened his tally after 15 minutes.
Barton doubled their advantage on the half-hour when Christian Perkins followed up his own shot which had rebounded off the crossbar.
Colin Ryan raced through for Barton's third five minutes into the second period, and Beechers added three more to clinch the championship in style.
On Thursday, Division 1 leaders Cricketers had three men sent off as they were held to a 4-4 draw by bottom club Yellow Eagles.
A dubious penalty after three minutes saw Adam Taylor fire Cricketers into the lead, which they doubled through Craig Taylor.
Adam Smith pulled one back for Eagles with a header five minutes before half-time.
Twenty minutes into the second half, Cricketers had defender Mark Tierney sent off for a second bookable offence.
And Eagles immediately took advantage with Thom Airs levelling from the edge of the box.
Cricketers regained the lead with Ricky Anderson tapping home, but Eagles levelled again through substitute George Dugdale, who followed up his blocked shot to score.
Cricketers then had Craig Taylor sent off five minutes from time, but they took the lead when Anderson netted again.
Ryan Taylor became Cricketers' third player to be shown the red card by referee Reggie Isaacs a minute from time, and Eagles centre back Smith scrambled his second at the back post to snatch a well-deserved point.
Chalgrove kept their title hopes alive with with a 5-1 victory at Mansfield Road Res.
Simon Godfrey grabbed a brace, with Robert Cantwell, Jonathan Cox and Max Cooke completing Chalgrove's tally. Jonathan George provided Mansfield's lone reply.
AFC Watlington ran out 2-1 winners at AFC Boudika.
Niall Best and Rob Lyons netted for the visitors, with Phil Walsh replying.
