Steve Pitson continued his amazing scoring run with a first-half double hat-trick before suffering a serious ankle injury in Saxton Rovers' 9-1 rout of Kidlington Royals in Division 1 of the Autotype UTV League.
Pitson took his goal tally to 29, before having to be rushed to hospital with damaged ankle ligaments following a collision with the Royals goalkeeper.
He is expected to be out of action for at least five weeks.
Runaway leaders Rovers' other goals came from Steve Steptoe, Garry Hartley and a penalty from keeper Dave Hawthorn.
Childrey OHB boosted their chances of avoiding relegation with a surprise 4-1 win at Cross Keys.
Gareth Cooper fired Cross Keys in front after just 30 seconds. But a double strike from Steve Doman and a goal from Jamie Wilkins plus a first-ever score by Nick Inns, turned the match around.
Dorchester United won a seven-goal thriller at home to Sandman 4-3.
Colin Royall grabbed a brace, with John Boal and Luke Saun- ders also on target.
A James Pomeroy double and a goal from Matt Woodside, kept Sandman in the hunt.
Paul McNulty scored a hat-trick as Divison 2 leaders OUP Wanderers swept aside Allbrite 5-1. Ellis Bicknell and Wayne Constable also got on the scoresheet for the home side.
Second-placed AFC Cowley returned to winning ways when two penalties from Charlie Bough took them to a 2-0 victory over high-riding Wallingford Exiles.
Abingdon Exiles triumphed 7-1 against ten-man Wheatsheaf, who finished with nine after Dan Cox-Rogers was sent off for a bad foul.
Ben Podd scored a treble, for Exiles, whose other scores came from substitute Steve Cox (2), and brothers Adam and Dean Godwin. Gareth Fenton netted for the losers.
Mark Pryde cracked a four-timer as Goodlake Arms smashed ten unanswered goals past bottom club Rutherford Lab.
Veteran 54-year-old Eddie Lloyd netted twice along with brothers Tom and John Srawley, Gareth Walker and Ryan Hudson.
A Simon Collett double helped a resurgent Research Machines to record a 3-1 win at home to CR Marks Kirtlington.
Nick Wehmeier grabbed the other goal for RM, while Alan Foster was the lone Marks' scorer.
Railway Wheatley striker Seb Warner cracked a hat-trick, but still ended up on the losing side as Division 3A leaders Robin Hood won a cracking match 4-3.
A Craig Mays double plus strikes from Chris Thomas and Craig Horne helped ten-man Hood go six points clear.
Railway keeper Nick Rogers had kept his side in the match with a penalty save.
A solitary strike from Abba United's Andy Sams, in the first half, gave his side a 1-0 win at Iffley Harriers.
Matt Loveridge cracked a hat-trick as Shelley Arms completed the double over UYS United, in a 5-2 home win.
Sergei Potrimba also netted for Shelley, the other score came from an own goal.
Mark Sheldon inspired Division 3B leaders Bell Grove to a 5-0 home win, with Dave Stebbings hitting a brace.
The other Bell 'ringers' were Jason Maynard, Tom Rowe and Simon Bennett.
Brightwell Rebels maintained their promotion push with an 8-1 demolition at Sandman Res.
Luke Higgins led the way with a super double.
Luke Ayling, Danny Weekes, Jack Hall-Hurst, Nathan Gray, Dan Walker and Jonny Dix also found the back of the net for Brightwell.
