Abba Athletic continued their rich vain of form in knock-out competitions with 4-2 victory over fellow Division 3A side Dorchester Rebels in the second round of the Autotype UTV League's Devenney Cup, writes Tim Siret.
Andy Sams grabbed a double for Abba, with Lee Clack and Scott Blackwell completing the victory.
Kings Arms Wheatley left it late to grab an equaliser in a 1-1 draw with a much-improved Sandman in the Alan Alder Trophy.
Sandman took the lead early in the second half, James Studds netting from a corner.
Wheatley were denied several times by Sandman keeper, Graeme Coulthard, who saved a penalty, but he was eventually beaten by defender Shaun Pearce deep into injury time.
Cross Keys turned league form on its head, smashing Saxton Rovers 5-0.
Lee Dewar fired home from 25 yards and Tom Hemmings made it 2-0 at half-time.
In the second half, Hemmings, with a 20-yard strike, Liam Barson and Jack Rhodes completed the rout.
Standlake Garage's normal keeper Ashley Edwards played out of goal and hammered their first score in a surprise 4-2 success at Childrey OHB.
Childrey soon levelled through Joe Harvey, but Gary Atkinson restored Garage's lead.
A penalty from Dave Webb and Steve Lyon's shot made sure of the points before Steve Doman replied late on for Cholsey.
AFC Cowley thrashed Long Wittenham 10-0, to close the gap at the top of Division 2.
Charlie Bough hit a hat-trick, while Daniel Bruno, Aaron Barrett, Daniel Richmond all grabbed doubles. Cowley's other goal came from Riccar Bruno.
In Division 3A, Abingdon Knights recorded a 3-1 win against The Leys.
Jack Tuckerman gave Knights the lead, but they were pegged back by a strike from Nick Andrews.
Ed Morey restored Knight's lead and Craig Wootton's goal wrapped up the win.
Jack Barrett netted as Iffley Harriers drew 1-1 with Railway Wheatley.
Bell Grove are three points behind the Division 3B leaders Brightwell after thrashing Sutton Symphony 8-1.
Johnny Jones hit two, while Dan Gibbard, Lee Kent, Alex Howe, Paul Freeman, Nick Howe and James Rose also scored.
Tim Payne hit the solitary consolation for Sutton.
Harry Isitt grabbed a hat-trick to help Wallingford Wanderers to a 5-1 home win against Sandman Res.
Ben Strudley and Luke Rowe also netted for Wanderers, James Dolling scoring for Sandman.
