David Jennings came back to haunt his former Cold Arbour teammates with the late deciding goal in Oxford Yellows' 3-2 success in the first round of the Marston's Oxford Sunday League Cup. Former Oxford United star Joey Beauchamp and skipper Rocky Whiting put Yellows 2-0 up at the break.
Arbour battled back at the start of the second period and levelled at 2-2 before Jennings scored Yellows' winner.
Barton United were forced to wait while the hosts AFC Boudika gathered a side, but once the game started, the visitors raced into a 4-0 half-time lead through Ryan Curtin (3) and James Ford.
Well in control, Barton's changed their line-up and completed a 5-0 win through Aaron Armstrong's second-half strike.
AFC Watlington moved comfortably into the next round with a 5-1 win away to Cowley Rovers.
Phil Hodges grabbed a hat-trick for the visitors, Martin Newbould and Charlie Littledale netting the others. Saheer Ali replied for Cowley Chalgrove recorded a 5-2 victory over visitors Wychwood Forest in the preliminary round as both Nick Skiller and Robert Cantwell scored twice, with Callum Cooke completing their tally.
Northway lost a 2-1 lead and fell to a 5-2 defeat at home to Cricketers in Division 1.
Simon Drewett and Craig Gilboy put Northway ahead, but Cricketers, who netted two penalties, romped away in the second half.
Mark Boaler grabbed a brace for Cricketers, while Kevin Bennett, Ryan Taylor and Jason Black added one each.
