Substitute Kevin Cooper bagged a brace for Saxon Warriors as they boosted their Morrells of Oxford Sunday League Division 1 championship hopes with a 6-2 thumping of Railway Wheatley.

Saxon did not break the deadlock until 15 minutes before the break when captain Andrew Shellard headed home. Nick Johnson lashed in a 25-yard piledriver - his first for the club - before Drew Fowler bagged No 3 after a mazy run.

Although Railway clawed a goal back through an Alan Rourke penalty spot early in the second half, Stewart Parsons increased Saxon's tally.

Cooper's double completed their tally. Mark Evans grabbed a second for Railway in the last minute.

Oxford Supporters cruised to a 5-2 victory away at Northway.

Mark Johnson opened Supporters' account from the penalty spot, before Luke Cuff calmly placed the ball into the bottom corner for their second.

After the break, Craig Dean and a solo effort from Benji Cuff made it 4-0.

James Gray netted for Northway, only for veteran Donley Romain to slide home Supporters' fifth, before Nick Bayliss completed Supp- orters' tally.

Aaron Bennett hit the winner for Cold Arbour Res as they won 1-0 at Oxford City Supporters.

In the Premier Division, Cold Arbour's title bid suffered a jolt as they crashed to a 4-1 defeat against Six Bells Kidlington.

Steve Litten cancelled out Arbour's early opener and doubled Six Bells' advantage just after the break.

Then a Lee Cooke brace, the second a 20-yard screamer, sealed a much needed victory for Six Bells.

Division 2 leaders Club 66-86 went down to a shock 5-1 defeat against Mansfield Road Res.

The hosts got off to a flying start, with Leon Nikitenko and Tommy Allen firing them into a 2-0 lead.

After Club 66-86 got one back via a penalty, Mansfield keeper Rich Schofield tipped a free-kick over the bar.

That spurred Mansfield on, with late goals from Bruno Versailles and Toby McPhilemy completing victory for Mansfield.

Woodchip Wanderers edged a seven-goal thriller against AFC Watlington, thanks to goals from John Smith, Jamie Goodwin, James Minnion and Matt Townsend.
