Jack Dunmall scored a four-timer as Kidlington won 5-4 at home to AFC Hinksey in a thrilling first-round Oxfordshire Senior Cup tie.
Kidlington at one stage led 4-1 thanks a hat-trick from Dunmall – including a penalty – and Ryan Curtin.
Anaclet Odhiambo’s second goal for Hinksey made it 4-2 at half-time before Dunmall added his fourth.
Hinksey hit back through Adam Doyle’s volley and a last-minute strike from Julian McCalmon.
Headington Amateurs’ 3-2 win at Clanfield was a tale of two penalties.
Paul Hedger netted from the spot to enable Headington to level for a second time, before their keeper Harry Jenkins brilliantly saved Steve Olphert’s penalty.
Shaun Jacob netted a late winner for Amateurs, whose first goal had come from Luke Cuff. Dan Bishop and Chris Blakely had twice put Clanifeld ahead.
