Oxfordshire 2nd began their County Championship Division 4 Central campaign with a convincing 12-3 home victory over Warwickshire 3rd.
Newly-promoted Oxon were level 2-2 after the singles, with player-of-the-match Emma Cramond and Kathryn Schutterlin victorious.
Cramond and Claire Tate plus Schutterlin and captain Clare Hamilton won their women’s doubles easily.
Paul Casey and Phil Sayer bagged two men’s doubles victories, while Pete Browning and James Barclay halved theirs.
Barclay and Cramond, Casey and Hamilton, plus Tate and Sayer completed a mixed doubles clean sweep and a maximum points win for ten or more rubbers.
Oxfordshire Over 40s earned a 6-6 draw away to Warwickshire in the Masters County Championship Midlands West Division.
The visitors won all the mixed doubles, with John Boyd and Jackie Yeulet clinching a nail-biter 21-19 in the third set.
Joe Roberts, from Brize Norton, and Witney’s Ashley Garrison won boys’ doubles silver medals at the Somerset under 17 tournament.
The pair’s run ended when they lost out to Cornwall’s Liam Silliphant and William Bick 21-19 in the final.
Under 13 girls Saffy Gujral (East End) and Maisie Boyd (Chalgrove) won three silver medals between them at the Kent tournament.
They were doubles runners-up, while Gujral beat Moni-que Maisie (Hertfordshire) 26-24 in the semi-final to earn singles silver.
Didcot’s Dan Blair won his second bronze medal of the season after reaching the semi-final of the boys singles at the North East Wales silver tournament in Wrexham.
Megan Ready, of Long Wittenham, and Kezia Lawson, of Benson, won a girls’ doubles bronze medal at the Worcester under 15 tournament.
