OXFORD City bagged a host of medals at the British Masters Athletic Federation (BMAF) 10K Championships in Ashford, Kent.
John Exley, Roy Treadwell, and Stewart Thorp took national team gold in the vet 55-64 category, recording times of 41mins 14secs, 38.42 and 37.54 respectively.
Thorp’s performance gained him individual vet 60 silver, while Treadwell took the same accolade for the vet 65 category.
The event also doubled as the Southern Counties Veterans Athletic Club (SCVAC) Championships, with Thorp and Treadwell adding regional golds to their collection.
- STEVE Naylor, from Woodstock, helped his first-claim club Bedford & County finish 17th in the ERRA National Six Stage Road Relays at Clumber Park, Nottingham.
Naylor clocked 15mins 13secs for the 6km course, taking Bedford up to third after leg two, but his club slipped back after that.
