OXFORD Harlequins backs coach Jamie Lakin hopes they can turn a corner after their first victory of the National 3 South West season.
Quins edged out Malvern 29-28 in a thriller on Saturday, earning a four-try bonus point in the process.
Victory lifted the side out of the relegation zone ahead of this week’s difficult trip to Newton Abbot.
“For me personally, I’m relieved,” said Lakin.
“The players fought hard and showed real mental strength after conceding an interception try.
“It was a well deserved win.
“I’m banking on this win to start building that all-important morale.”
