OXFORDSHIRE’S Henry Purdy continued his progress at Leicester Tigers with a try in their A League victory over Sale Jets.
The 18-year-old former Cokethorpe School pupil and Chipping Norton player touched down during Leicester’s 61-20 win.
Purdy started on the wing, as he had done against Oxford University the previous week at Iffley Road.
His try against Sale came after braces against Worcester and Newcastle, plus another in the clash with Gloucester.
Purdy has started Leicester’s last four A League matches and was a replacement in their opener against Northampton.
