Oxford United's ticket office are bracing themselves for a hectic week - after prices were announced for the FA Cup clash at Wycombe Wanderers and the campaign to try and break the 7,000-barrier for Saturday's home match with Aldershot gathers pace.
The U's are in the middle of an extensive poster push in a bid to break into the top ten all-time Conference attendances.
They have targeted Saturday's match to pass the tenth best mark of 7,193, set when Colchester hosted Barrow back in 1992.
And the signs are prom- ising.
United mascot Olly the Ox has been busy visiting local businesses promoting the match, with the club urging supporters to display posters across the city.
They have already received pictures of a poster in Austria, as well as former U's player Nigel Cassidy showing one off in his pub in Devon.
Olly was joined by commerical manager Peter Corbett, football in the community officer Peter Rhoades-Brown and receptionist Klaudia Sobieszczyk as they dropped in on Buildbase, Oxford Science Park and the Oxford Mail offices yesterday to hand out posters to workers.
"We have been very busy," said ticket office supervisor Dawn Wyllie.
"If we continue to sell the tickets at the same rate over the next few days as we have this week, then we would be very hopeful of breaking the 7,200 barrier."
Meanwhile, tickets for the Wycombe v Oxford match have been priced cheaper than for a league clash.
Oxford have been allocated 1,850 seat tickets and six wheelchair places.
All spaces are behind the goal and prices are £12 adults, £9 for over 65s and £4 for under 16s.
Tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders at midday today.
Any unsold tickets will go on sale to supporters with a ticket stub from Saturday's game.
