Oxfordshire made it two wins out of two with a 21-15 victory against Surrey at Bisley.
The visitors came out on top 179-142 on shots.
In the opening exchanges, Oxon won both singles in convincing fashion with Trevor Brown triumphing 20-5 and Matt Smith 18-5, while they drew one fours and lost the other.
And they pulled out a lead on the second run with wins in the triples from Mike Keevil, Gloria Smith and Dave Wiggins (13-7), and Barrie James, Lorraine Foster, Kay Dickson (11-6), and in the pairs by Julian Bradbury and Ernie Street (13-8).
Oxon started the third session well with Matt Smith (20-3) and Trevor Brown (13-12) winning their singles, but Surrey hit back by taking both fours.
The hosts continued their revival in the final exchanges, with Keevil, Smith and Wiggins providing Oxon's only success with a 14-5 win, but it was enough to take victory.
