VALE of White Horse fired a four-goal salvo in the second half to open their defence of the ESFA Under 15 Trophy with a 4-0 win over Andover & District at Milton United.
Joel Thompson bagged a brace to set the holders on the way in the second-round tie, before goals from Harrison Crick and Jack Powell sealed victory.
Vale are now away to the winners of Barking & Dagenham or Dacorum in the next round.
Mid Oxon bowed out with a 2-0 defeat by Cheltenham & District at Chipping Norton.
Sam Hughes gave Cheltenham a first-half lead, and Archie Haskayne’s strike after the break sealed Mid Oxon’s fate.
Oxford City have been drawn at home to South London in round three.
Meanwhile, Mid Oxon hold a get-together at Chipping Norton FC on Sunday to celebrate 50 years.
Past players and teachers are invited to come along to the reunion, which takes place from 6pm to 9pm.
- JOE Webber’s double sealed a 4-1 win for Vale of White Horse Under 14s over Stroud in their Vale Cup opener at Fairford Town.
Following a goalless first half, Sam Bloomer gave Vale the lead with a 15-yard drive.
Charlie Rowland then pounced on a rebound to make it 2-0, before Webber struck twice.
Stroud pulled a goal back ten minutes from time.
