STEFAN Read bagged an incredible nine-goal haul as Carterton Rangers cruised through to the third round of the Fred Ford Cup with a 29-1 thrashing of hosts Greystones, writes ANTHONY BARLOW.

Billy Hales scored a four-timer, with Bill Hales, Ben Pearce, Tom Clapton and James Barker netting trebles.

Josh Bishop and Andy Stone, who each bagged a brace, completed the rout for the Division 3 side. Rocky Burton replied for Division 4 Greystones.

Division 2 side Eynsham SSC knocked out Division 1 outfit Kingham AB 2-0, thanks to goals from Dan Clifton and Tom Smith.

Doubles from Dan Haggie and Dan Smith saw Hanborough storm to an 8-0 win at Wootton.

Liam Harris, Mark Stinchcombe, Craig Johnston and Aston Leach completed their tally.

Jason Lonsdale (2), Chris Zoldan (2), Chris Bowles (2) and Mike Bolt were on target in Carterton A’s 7-1 home win over Combe. Max Dunn hit the consolation.

Warwick Thompkins scored twice to help Chipping Norton to a 4-0 win at Minster Lovell. James Harri and Arrun Whithin were also on target.

Craig McCallum scored two in Charlbury Town’s 4-1 home win over FC Nomads.

Darren Craig replied for Nomads, but goals from Shaun Gilbert and Mark Goode settled the tie.

Matt Thompson scored twice in Witney Royals’ 4-1 win over Kirtlington.

Jamie Kennedy and Luke Lewis-Rippington got their others, with Sam Ferrier on target for the hosts.

Carl Dodds, Carl Austin, Dan King and Chris Hirons all found the back of the net in West Witney’s 4-2 win at Chadlington. Mark Sheffield and Richard Ingram replied.

Hosts Middle Barton lost 7-1 to Hailey. Jacob Hambridge and Craig Mays each scored twice, with Joey King, Mark Wright and Dean Mays adding.

Roger James (3) and Stephen Hocknell fired Milton to a 4-0 home win over North Leigh B in Division 2.

Mikel Ryan scored a treble as Minster Lovell Res went top of Division 3 with a 6-3 home win against Spartan Rangers Res.

James Hurn, Sam Hatton and Ryan Penn also netted, with Gareth Thomas, Ben Allen and James Macke replying.
