Headington Amateurs fired four goals in 11 second-half minutes to smash Rayners Lane’s unbeaten record in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East with a 4-0 home win.

Yannick Nkwanyou sparked the goal blitz with a low drive in the 53rd minute, before player-manager Luke Cuff, with a 30-yard chip, and a Paul Hedger header made it three goals in as many minutes.

Cuff’s second, with a far-post header, eight minutes later sealed victory, while Rayners Lane were reduced to ten men when Mark Woolley was sent off for a dangerous challenge.

AFC Hinksey won 3-0 at Easington Sports, with goals from Anaclet Odihambo, Kieran Davis and Sean Flaherty.

Ryan Daly hit a hat-trick in Chinnor’s 4-3 win at Henley Town, who have now lost their opening eight games. Mark Avery also netted for Chinnor, while Sam Rolfe, Dan Blatchford and Ray Harrison were on target for Henley.

Abingdon Town were thrashed 6-1 at Binfield in the Premier Division.

Garry Sargeant hit a hat-trick with Ryan Millward, Josh Millar and James Suarez also netting as Ben Taylor provided Abingdon’s lone reply.

Michael Silvanus’s late equaliser saw Shrivenham draw 1-1 at fellow strugglers Reading Town, who had led through Conrad Joseph.

Danny Roberts grabbed a late winner as Old Woodstock Town moved up to third in Division 1 West with a 2-1 victory at Lambourn Sports.

Craig Robinson’s opener for Woodstock had been cancelled out by Matt Pedder.

Liam Botcherby’s 89th-minute goal gave North Leigh Res a 2-1 comeback win at home to Carterton.

Michael Duerden had opened the scoring for Carterton, before Lloyd Lewis equalised.

Hook Norton crashed to a 6-0 defeat at Purton.

Tom Cadden hit a hat-trick, with Steve Avenall, Rich Crocker and Nick Mason completing the rout. Clanfield slipped to a 3-0 defeat at Lydney Town, whose goals came from a Pete Macklin double and an Adam Price penalty.

LETCOMBE won 2-1 at home to Binfield Res in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup second round.

Headed goals from Adam Bruce and Lyle Gifford put Letcombe in charge, before Dan Money replied for Binfield, who had two men sent off.
