FORMER Bicester junior James Forrester has suffered another injury as he was poised to feature in England's autumn internationals.
The Gloucester back row, who went to St Edward's School, Oxford, was due to have surgery on torn left knee cartilage last night.
Forrester, 25, is expected to be out of action for up to six weeks after suffering the injury during Gloucester's 37-20 Heineken Cup defeat to Leinster.
England's head coach Andy Robinson said: "It is a blow for Gloucester and England because James was very much in contention for this series, but the important thing for him now is that he gets the best treatment and rehabilitation.
Forrester, the Guinness Premiership player of the month for September, has made six appearances in all competitions and has scored four tries.
