Headington Roadrunner Tracy Galbraith led from start to finish at the Candleford Canter Ladies' 10K, hosted by Alchester Running Club on Sunday.
A record entry turned out for the event, now in its third year.
And with conditions more like summer than mid-autumn, fast times were anticipated.
Galbraith got off to a flying start and showed tremendous stamina as she finished more than three minutes ahead of her nearest rival.
She crossed the line in 37mins 33secs, with Milton Keynes' Sarah Cox taking silver in 40.48.
There was joy also for the host club, who picked up the team prize.
Liz Dover ran one of her best races for some time to finish sixth in 43.41, with Kate Watkins (46.49) and Hazel Howard (51.02) making up the winning team.
