OXFORD United boss Jim Smith believes their FA Cup first-round tie at Wycombe will be a good yardstick for how good his team are after the near-neighbours were paired together in the first round.
The U's are now the only unbeaten side in the top seven divisions in England after their 1-0 FA Cup win at Dagenham and Aston Villa's Premiership defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.
But Paul Lambert's Wycombe, 1-0 winners at Boston at the weekend, are also in an automatic promotion position, currently third in League Two.
Smith believes the first-round tie at Adams Park on Saturday, November 11 should be a cracking game.
"I didn't realise until I read it that we haven't had a home draw for quite a long time," he said.
"Well, we haven't got a home draw, but we've got one as near as we possibly can.
"It will be a good yardstick of how good we are. They're a successful side in the division above us and it's a good place to go.
"It's a free week for us and we'd prefer to play than not play, so we're pleased."
United chairman Nick Merry said the FA Cup draw was a good one for the fans.
"We'd have taken anybody at home at this point, but Wycombe away is a good draw for us," he said.
"We'll go there and give them a good battle, for sure.
"It's a fixture that everyone's going to enjoy. It's just down the road, we'll take a lot of fans there and the lads can beat anybody at the moment. - when we play football, we're a great side."
