J&K Tackle’s Gary Keetley captured the top prize of £400 at the two-day Dynamite Baits Summer Festival at Oakfield Fishery.

He was seventh on Saturday with 84lbs 3.0oz, but won Sunday’s second leg with a massive 213.0.0.

The 12th match in the 2012 Carp League series was fished at Tunnel Barn’s Club Pool, over the border in Warwickshire, which fished well for the 14 anglers.

Craig Partridge drew the top corner of the lake and fished the margins to take a mixed bag, including some nice barbel, plus a few large carp on maggot 120.4.0 and top spot.

Matt Ryman (Predator) was second with 109.0.0 of mainly carp to 4lb, using paste over pellet at 5m and down the edge.

Third place went to Martin Craig, who fished the pole and pellet at 6m for a mixed bag worth 97.8.0.

Only two matches remain, the next on September 16 at Panshill.

Charlbury AC were on a coloured and flowing Thames at Medley for their Pick Up Cup, and roach again figured prominently.

Mark Taylor caught 11.15.0 of them on stick float and caster, feeding hemp and caster four rod-lengths out.

Colin Cox used stick and maggot to catch roach and bits for 4.13.0 and second, followed by Mark Mills, who had perch and bits on the feeder for 3.9.8.

A chub of 4.6.0 helped Chris Webb to victory in Oxford Waltonians’ J Trophy match on the Thame at Wheatley.

It made up the bulk of his 5.8.0, caught on pole with maggot.

Tony Gee (Acorn Angling) caught small roach and perch on stick float and maggot for 4.13.0, while Alan Gee (Acorn Angling) was just behind with 4.3.0 of small roach and dace.

Sixteen Beehive AC members fished their FA and UEFA Cup finals at Panshill in near- perfect conditions and the fish obliged with more than 1,100lbs hitting the scales.

Kevin Jeacock triumphed with 148.15.0 carp on pole and paste, followed by Bob Alder with 100.0.0 carp to pole and pellet and Tim Belcher with 85.13.0.

Richard Mott lifted the FA Cup , while the UEFA Cup went to Mark Bennett.
