Oxfordshire Under 16s finished third out of six teams at the 2012 Standard Bank Jersey Festival – having gone into the final day with a chance of claiming the title.

They did, however, take home two pieces of silverware, with Miles Hammond named player of the tournament, and the team winning the Spirit of Cricket Fair Play award for the second year in a row.

Oxon beat Hampshire, Berkshire and Jersey, but lost to Bucks and Cheshire.

Hammond won his award after scoring 319 runs at an average of more than 106.
