OXFORD captain Ian Crosby said they will only have themselves to blame if their relegation from Division 1 is confirmed tomorrow.

Should Potters Bar get a single point against champions High Wycombe, Oxford will go down regardless of how they do at Bishops Stortford.

Crosby returns to the side along with John Barrett, while Joe Porter and Chris Sandbach miss out due to work commitments.

“We have only got ourselves to blame,” said Crosby, whose side also play in Sunday’s Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup and Wilf Bennett Trophy finals.

“We didn’t play well enough at the start of the season and have not taken our chances at the back end.

“There will be no excuses from me if we go down.”

Banbury will confirm second place if they avoid defeat at Tring Park.

But captain Ian Hawtin, is targeting victory, which will take them past the 300-point mark.

“We want to try and finish the season on a winning note,” said Hawtin.
