CROPREDY are up and will be champions if they win at Banbury 3rd this week.
On Saturday, they sque-ezed past visitors Kingston Bagpuize to leave them in danger of going down. A cultured 32 from Dave Pearce and a hard-hit 44 by Dave Ward took Bagpuize to 144-6 from their 53 overs.
Matt Warner then claimed 4-38 to make Cropredy sweat, but Mike Amos-Simpson’s 46 not took the hosts to 147-6.

Bledlow Village join Cropredy in Division 2 after they battered Banbury 3rd.
Adam Mould (3-22), James Shirley (3-27) and Mark King (3-27) were all in the wickets as Banbury were bowled out for exactly 100. Michael Thomas top-scored with 36.
Mould was unbeaten on 49 when Bledlow reached 101-2 from only 13 overs.

Chearsley are down after they lost by two wickets at home to Bicester & North Oxford.
Richard Simpson took 5-41 as the home side slumped to 139 all out, with only Nick Grimsdell (39) and Neil Davies (34) getting going.
Edward Holland (5-27) and Marc Hignell (3-35) nearly the turned the game on its head, but Iain Horner (50no) held his nerve as Bicester reached 141-8.
Chearsley 10, Bic & N Oxford 25
Witney Mills stay in the mire after failing to chase the 141 posted by Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd.
Andy Thompson (50) was the mainstay for Shipton, while Pierre Lefort took 3-21 and Steve Kelly claimed 3-21. Joe Cockroft (4-29) then help restrict Mills to 128-8.

James Stevens (63no) and Phil Brooks (43) steered Bledlow Ridge to 194-7 against Dinton 2nd.
Matt Donnelly then took 5-18 as Dinton were demolished for 119.
